Fiesta and puma chassis upgrades.

The Fiesta chassis is fantastic out of the box. however, there are always things you can improve. Just like engine work, it gets more serious the higher up the ladder you go. Again, we make this simple with a numbered system.

RMChassis-1 ~£140 Fitted

Upgraded, lowered springs are fitted, a more positive steering feel is introduced to the car and it looks great to boot! Suspension bushes and mounts are all inspected during the change. Lowers by 60mm (40mm zetec s)

RMChassis-2 ~£300 Fitted

The entire suspension setup is changed for harder shock and springs. This setup is fantastic day to day and really brings the car alive! Suspension bushes and mounts are all inspected during the change. Lowers by 60mm (40mm zetec s)

RMChassis-3 ~£680 Fitted

Again the entire shock/spring assembly is changed, this time in favour of a much smaller, lighter zinc coated steel unit called a coilover. The Gaz GHA unit has on car adjustability, ride height adjustment of -25 to -65mm and adjustable dampening to suit comfort and drivablity requirments. A superb setup!

This is the ultimate. alloy bodied coilover units with 3-way dampening, rebound and ride height adjustment. Aimed at serious trackday and race cars in particular. youll be hard pressed to find any better.

RMChassis-4 ~£300 Fitted

Bushes. Rubber bushes deteriorate over time. This slowly introduces knocks, bangs and an all round wooly feeling to the drive of your car. Polyurathane bushes do not deteriorate. They come in a range of compounds to suit comfort and driving style. (8 bushes)

RMChassis-5 ~£470 Fitted (options)

Vibritechnics engine mounts stop the engine wobbling around in the car. this wobbling ruins power, torque and cornering speed. They make both road and competition compounds. (3 alloy mounts)

RMChassis-6 £POA (options)

Shortened Drop links, tyres, front and rear antiroll bars and weight reduction all make noticable gains in the overall dynamics of the vehicles drive, less so than all of the abouve but its a never ending story how far you want to go.

These are important. slowing down is much more important than speeding up, after all the sooner you have to slow down the less of your power you can use!

There are so many options to upgrading from pad upgrades (mintex 1144) to larger OE brakes (fiesta ST 280mm and mondeo 300mm) to multipul piston kits like the 4 piston Highspec Motorsport billit aluminium kits. you can also renew/upgrade the brake fluid and brake lines which makes a massive differece equally.
